The external review of IIAF II's E&S Management System (ESMS) is currently being carried out by service provider IBIS, with the goal of completion in Q2 2024. The review is the final item of BII's E&S and Business Integrity Action Plans (ESAP & BIAP) from their investment in IIAF II in 2021. The Fund Manager continued work on ESG periodic monitoring and on the implementation of agreed ESG Action Plans of portfolio companies. No material events were reported in Q1 2024.
In March, Insitor's TA Manager presented at a BII event celebrating International Woman's Day entitled "Everyday Equity". On-site meetings were also held with teams from BII and counterparts at WorkIndia and UCIC in Bengaluru to discuss potential TA projects, with a preference for projects that increase revenues and also focus on under-targeted consumers, especially women. A new TA project with GoldFin was initiated in Q1, aiming to improve the company's digital presence and more efficiently target BoP customers.
